If you are new to MRBC, let us first of all welcome you to the family. We know it can be hard getting started in any church and especially if it's a church like Miles Road that is blessed with steady growth, multiple worship services and Sunday schools, and countless ministries to be involved in. However, it is very important to Pastor Jim, the staff, and every member that you know that Miles Road wants you, needs you and has a place for you. To make the transition easier let us suggest several steps.
Step 1: Call
Call the church office and request that the pastor or one of the staff pay you a visit at a time convienent to you that would allow us to get to know you and share with you some of the exciting opportunities that will allow you to Fellowship, Learn, and Serve at MRBC. One thing you will hear Pastor Jim and the staff say over and over, "WE'RE AVAILABLE", just call and schedule a visit and we'll see you soon.
Step 2: Attend
Attend one of our quaterly New Member fellowships. These are casual fellowships hosted by members of Miles Road for families or individuals that have recently joined or have been visiting MRBC and desire an opportunity to get to know some of our regulars. For more information on dates and times please call the church office.
Step 3: Find a Sunday School Class
Sunday school is the heartbeat of Miles Road. In it you will find lifetime friends, opporuntities to serve, and Bible teaching that will change your life. We have classes for every age group and every situation. Sunday school is what makes Miles Road a home, where you become a part of the family, not just a place to go to church.
