MRBC Women’s Small Groups
Are you connected? Our Ladies Small Groups are the best way to “plug-in” and connect with meaningful, in-depth fellowship at Miles Road Baptist Church! When you join a Small Group, you’ll meet weekly with your group to share in each other’s day-to-day faith journey. Our Small Groups pray together, share life’s victories as well as challenges, and read and discuss exciting books by noted Christian authors—particularly suited to your needs as a woman, wife, and mother!
You will experience solid spiritual growth, and you’ll develop long-lasting friendships with the other 6-7 women in your group! Groups meet for 1½ hours weekly, and they’re designed especially for your busy life—with no homework required. Groups meet at various times throughout the week, (both day and evening) throughout the year, in varied locations in order to accommodate many differing daily schedule-demands.
So if you’re not connected, please email Debbi Dunlap (drdebbi@hotmail.com) to get plugged-in! She will gladly inform you of which groups have openings, and she’ll provide any clarification you might need regarding specific meeting times, places, and your group leader’s phone number.
*Women’s Bible Study – Each Thursday afternoon and Thursday evening, an ongoing women’s Bible Study is taught throughout the year. With outstanding teachers and life-transforming studies, you’re sure to be challenged and uplifted by becoming a part of this ministry!
MRBC WOMEN’S EVENTS
*Fall Women’s Conference – Held at Miles Road Baptist Church, we offer a Friday evening/all-day Saturday conference each year in October—featuring an outstanding keynote speaker, Praise and Worship Music, inspiring and informative breakout groups, 3 meals shared together, and wonderful door prizes! The conference dates for this year are October 26th and 27th, and we are pleased to announce that our keynote speaker is Dr. Billy Graham’s daughter, Gigi Graham.
*Ladies Jubilee – This is our biggest event of the year! Each spring in early May, all women of our community are invited to join us for a beautiful banquet featuring a gourmet menu, an enjoyable speaker, excellent music, exquisite door prizes galore, and an unforgettable time of fellowship and outreach!
*Heart to Heart – MRBC women are encouraged to invite friends, neighbors, and co-worker—and meet together at 5:30 in Fellowship Hall for a fun evening shared together, including a covered dish dinner, a guest speaker, special music, door prizes, prayer, and lots of laughter! Our next Heart to Heart is scheduled for Saturday, November 10th, with Tammy Feil as our guest speaker. We invite you to join us!!
*Winter Prayer Retreat – An exciting and life-changing 3-day event taking place each March, in the majestic mountains of North Carolina.
